I make, paint and decorate Shamanic drums and sacred tools for my own practice, to order and to sell on Etsy.com/shop/LifeSmithDrums
My interest in making and using these tools has developed over many years. We all have ritual ways of being which support us and these practices help me stay connected to life. With my interest in nature and energy work – especially horses and the ‘other than human’ – I invest my heart and energy into making these ‘once living’ pieces as a way to honour and be at peace with what is within and around me. This practice helps me invest in the reality that there is more to life than me and that life offers many gifts and lessons when we are willing to receive. Some of my own drums honour my horses and I use these in my equine work.
Therapeutic Drumming in Nature and Meditation with Horses.
I offer therapeutic drumming circles to nurture and nourish the connection with nature and life's heartbeat.
These small group sessions, often around a fire-pit in the field, include meditation in nature with time for reflection and sharing. These sessions are informed by the herd, the wildlife and surroundings and happen on seasonal or auspicious dates, for example the solstice.
Drums and rattles are provided.
