About LifeSmith

I trained as an artist receiving a 1st Class Honours Degree in Fine Art Embroidery many, many years ago. I couldn't tell you the number of years I have spent creating art and crafts. I find these activities to be healing and nourishing. My last 30 years were spent working as a Therapeutic Psychotherapist and Body Worker. I offer some body work in my local area, mainly reflexology.

I've always turned to nature and animals, it just feels where I need to be, where I connect with life. The authenticity of wildness is like a back bone to me, as is the 15 years working with a native american shaman. This relationship continues to support my work.

For over 7 years I have been crafting sacred shamanic drums with love and intention. Each piece is uniquely and carefully created using ethically sourced materials and the blessing of nature.

My current focus is on soul art, making paintings of life inspired by soul journeys.

I sell the drums I have birthed on Etsy though am in the process of retiring from this work. I haven't completely closed the door on making drums to sell though for the near future plan only to make drums to order.

The image below is of my soul horse Daisy who brought inspiration for my shamanic work. She sadly died in 2021 though her spirit is here in the wind and the sky and the herd she was a part of.
